The Main House of Mira Flores was designed by Reginald Johnson, garden design by Paul Thiene and completed in 1919.  The centerpiece of the Music Academy of the West’s historic campus, the main house has been restored in 2016 to its original splendor.  For the Academy’s role in the restoration of Mira Flores Main House, it was recognized with one of the community’s highest honors, Santa Barbara Beautiful’s President’s Award.
