The Music Academy of the West saw the need to expand its teaching facilities with a new education center in order to remain preeminent in its field.  The new Luria Education Center, organized around a new outdoor dining patio, expanded gardens and a colorful tiled fountain, complements Reginald Johnson’s original design intent for the adjacent main house and provides a more cohesive and better functioning environment for the Academy’s fellows, faculty, audiences and community partners.
